Shared Interest Groups (SIGs)

A Shared Interest Group (SIG) is a group of OLÉ! members who meet regularly to pursue a common interest or activity. The focus might be a subject for discussion, a skill, or a recreational or social activity. Unlike classes with instructors, SIGs are initiated and run by the members themselves.

At the left, or here, is a link to the list of Current SIGs. How do you join a SIG? It's easy! First, make sure you are logged on to this OLÉ! website. Then, from the list of Current SIGs, click on the name of the SIG you are interested in. The displayed information will include the name and contact information of the SIG's coordinators. Just email the coordinator saying you are interested in joining. You don't have to wait until the beginning of a class session to join a SIG – it can be done any time.

The creation and operation of Shared Interest Groups depend on you, the OLÉ! members.  Click here to find out how to start a SIG on a topic of interest to you.
