Equipment available at Eugene Short Building, Rooms 212, 214, and 216

Location:

Eugene Short Building is a two-story building located between the Wendy Williamson Theater and the Allied Health Sciences Building. UAA Campus Police and the Audio Visual Department occupy the first floor.

Parking:

Free on Fridays. Limited parking is available in the South K Lot and Short Building Lot. Other parking is available at the West Parking Lot and the South Parking Lot.

Rest rooms: Men’s room is at the east end of the second floor; women’s room is at the west end of the second floor.

Elevator: Located off the main lobby in the middle of the building. The 3 classrooms adjoin and are to the east of the stairs on the north side of the hallway.

Special needs desks are available in each room. Let us know if you need one and we will find out if they are available to members of OLÉ!

Chalk boards (we will bring chalk)

White marker board is only available in Room 212

Ceiling mounted digital projector

DVD and VHS player

Audio CD player

Laptop computers are NOT supplied; bring your own

Plug in for PC laptop and standard cable is supplied

Mac users or others with unusual connections: Bring your own dongle

Free wirelesss internet connection is provided by UAA

Clear instructions for using the digital projector and other equipment are posted in the rooms.

Note: The bulbs in the projectors are fragile and very expensive. Do not turn the projector on and off rapidly because doing so can stress the bulb. After turning the projector off, allow the fan to run until it turns off automatically. Please leave the equipment turned off when you leave. Report any malfunctions to Sandra Christopherson at 277-0256 so that we can report them for maintenance and repair.
